So you've probably stumbled upon this page and are thinking—What’s the big deal? What makes you so special? You're just another girl whose writing a blog where you review books.
My answer is: You're right.
There are hundreds of book review blogs. Hundreds of people who want to be the next big writer—to have an author see their review of a book.
Here's the thing: I'm not them.
This blog is about finding and sharing GREAT books (or any books that anyone suggests), but also discussing writing. I love writing—I have been doing it since I was little and continue to do so. I think it's fascinating to discuss the writing process.
But who are you? What makes you so knowledgeable?
Well, I wouldn't say I am knowledgeable about the subject. Passionate—yes. I love reading. I love writing. Both have had a HUGE impact on the person I am today.
But that's not to say that I don't have some experience or real-life thoughts to all of this. I'm 27 years old and am currently enrolled in a master of library science program. After finishing with my bachelor's, I took some time and thought about what I love to do. As I've expressed—reading and writing were the two things that stuck out. But my schoolwork and my job don't allow me to be this creative. Thus was born—this blog.
What other things do you like to do?
Lots. I love to crochet and cross-stitch. I love sports (I grew up with 6 brothers... I think it was part of my job description to enjoy sports). I love plays and musicals.
